As I'm starting to write this, I'm trying to think of ways to describe Luna + Saya jewelry. Eclectic, heart and soul, statement pieces that fits everyone's style is what comes to mind. You can wear them casually and you can wear them dressed up. Wear them to work, brunch, weddings, around the house, whatever the occasion. You'll never know they're there being so lightweight.
The mastermind behind these designs and business is my dear friend, Marina. She is a self taught entrepreneur who has grown this business at a rapid rate. I have known Marina for the last 3-ish years and I have watched her designs grow and her passion show through her designs. She started with Gnarly Knacks and making miniatures of food earrings like lemon slices, sushi rolls, and coffee beans out of polymer clay. The first pair of earrings I bought from her were actually a gift for my friend who had an obsession with lemon slices.
Fast-forward to today, she's actually just released a new style with resin that is connecting with those roots. But her talent doesn't stop at food. She reflects her heritage, her heart, her beliefs, her surroundings as her inspiration for her unparalleled brand.
Her earrings are handcrafted so no two pairs are identical. Her choice of materials like polymer clay and resin keeps her jewelry lightweight and durable to withstand a whole night of dancing. She stands behind her pieces and puts her heart into every pair of earrings and hair pin that she makes. She is a one woman show. She's the designer, she makes them and bakes the, sands them, she does most the photography, she packs each shipment, creates each label, and she is the one who drops them off at the courier. All while holding a full time job working with me. She is truly inspirational.

I own a few pairs of earrings of hers and they are the automatic go-to when accessorizing. I have sensitive ears and am allergic to nickel and her earrings do NOT irritate my ears. I've also noticed that heavy earrings that are clipped too tightly cause irritation too. Luna + Saya earrings are so lightweight that I don't have to worry about that either. They are my favorite and I look forward to owning more Luna + Saya earrings.
