As the quarantine is starting to lift, slowly but surely, some of you ladies are returning back to work. In celebration of going back to normalcy, I wanted to share with you a couple of my all time favorite work skirts that get the most compliments. They're also budget friendly - which we can all use. The skirts are under $25 which is a steal! So let's get started!
This sunflower skirt is by far the most favorite of skirts I own. I just wear it with a basic black tee and some nude heels and it's a perfect outfit. Bonus points! It has pockets! I love how airy it is and comfortable and how easy of an outfit it is. Not much thought has to go into it. And for the shirt and skirt, I paid less than $30. The shirt is from target and is the brand A New Day which is turning into one of my favorites.
Next is the black midi-pencil skirt from Target. I had one for years and the zipper busted so I went back and bought another. It is so versatile. Dress it up with a nice blouse and a blazer, dress it down with a tee or a cardigan. I love wearing it and always look professional for my meetings that I have. They also have it in grey. Definitely worth it and an essential in anyone's work wear. It would be perfect for an interview too. The length is appropriate and just a very crisp look.
The tops I paired with is the purple J. Crew tank. I also paired up a plain black tank (from Target) with a Loft cardigan over it.
For reference - I'm 5' 6" and 130 pounds and I wear a size small. I have GIANT quads and my hips measure 38" so it fits most body types!
If you want me to find links for the tops, let me know in the comments below and I'll edit the post to share those!

I am about the same size as you. Here's my question for you. I don't usually wear skirts, but I have a job interview coming up and I have nothing to wear. I hate to buy clothes if I am never going to wear them again. Would you be willing to let me rent your outfit for my interview, then I will get it dry-cleaned and return it to you. I can pay you say $100 for the use of the outfit
