Easiest, protein coffee recipe, EVER

We all have those nights where we eat chips cookies for dinner (or is that just me...). Regardless, the next morning, we wake up feeling not so great and we need a palate cleanse. This is a quick liquid breakfast with a java buzz to help you start your morning on the right track!

I promise it's super easy and it tastes super yummy. But the key to making this the best tasting protein coffee ever, you need a good, quality protein powder that you actually like! This is so important. If it's too chalky for you or if it's too thick for your liking, try something new. I like thinner protein shakes that dissolve easily. Right now, my boyfriend has a hoarders stash of Golden Standard protein so I'm trying to lessen the six (yes SIX) giant containers of it. I love LivBody and Orgain and those are my go to's but use what you like. This flavor is the Golden Standard Vanilla Crema and makes a nice vanilla latte style drink and it's delicious and filling!
Let's get to the coffee!

Ingredients

~ 1 cup of brewed and cooled coffee - medium roast keeps it from being too bitter
~ 1 cup of milk or milk alternative - I use unsweetened almond milk
~ 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
~ 1 pump of sugar free vanilla syrup (not pictured)

Add all the ingredients to a shaker bottle with about a cup of ice and shake to make it instantly chilled and serve! It's delicious, velvety and a good reset for a poor choice in dinner or a continuation when you stick to your lifestyle eats!

Other fun add-ins to elevate flavor or health benefits! Cinnamon, turmeric, nutmeg, and zero calorie sweetener for extra sweetness, agave nectar or honey!
